now on the other side (south) of the newport harbor channel...you can see the wedge in the distance..this is corona del mar beach on this side
i went swimming at Little Corona (a little further south of Big Corona). ...the waves were not so big here but there was still a BIG undertow...had to work hard to avoid
getting pulled out to sea
surfers @ corona del mar had LONG waves,
albeit not nearly as BIG as The WEDGE
SOME Of them also SURFED the CHANNEL ITSELF
